He Provides

Updated: May 11, 2020

Most of you would be aware of GoRendang's initiative since the first week of lockdown. In the last 6 weeks, we have had a contribution of £1090 which enabled the business to deliver essential supplies and 215 mealboxes to NHS staffs, care home workers and families in need. However, last week we were operating on our personal expenses which is fine from a personal perspective but not sustainable business wise and on a regular basis but nevertheless, we continued with the operation because we trust in God's provision (For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things - Psalm 107:9). If people are hungry, we feed them, that's all, no questions asked and there will be no condemnation nor judgement. How many more meals will we be able to provide because of the constraint, we didn't know. All we did was just persevering in faith.

When all were uncertain and God seemed silent, this came through our front door today...

...and there were no words, only tears, and feeling of gratefulness to God who fulfills His promises as said in the Bible.

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:19.

Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these - Matthew 6:25-34.

Thank you God for your provision and for sending a kind person with the donation.

Dear Donor,

Be encouraged that you are part of God's great plans during this pandemic. We don't know how and what you are going through but know that at least 10 people will be blessed by this in the coming week. Thank you for your generosity and compassion for the community. May He continue to do greater works through you and for you to be filled with His heavenly love, joy and peace during this unprecedented time.

Our hearts are filled with overflowing joy and hope. Thank you Lord!
