GoRendang has passed the 3-years milestone

A glimpse into GoRendang's journey and testimony...

I wanted to stay in my comfort zone, retire at 65 with a big pension but He said No,

The entire 2016, no news from recruitment, all doors were closed.

I toggled the idea of food business which first came up 10 years ago,

It was all so uncertain and it was one of those times I ever felt so low.

Mid-year I stumbled across a Social Enterprise,

An organization which supports business setup of any size.

I signed up for fun and pretty much clueless,

But He constantly said to me in 2 Corinthians 12:9 ,

"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness".

Few months later, I was offered the business course for free,

The focus was on food industry, ironically.

To accept the offer, I needed 5 days leave,

Checked the leave portal and number 5 was flashing at me!

Spooky 5? No less, no more?

Coincidence? I don't think so,

I completed the course, delivered a business plan all ready to go.

Though 2017 wasn't a great start,

Nevertheless I took a leap of faith which had filled my heart.

For the first 6 months, I doubted all the time,

But at Westpoint August 2017, He reassured me the first time,

Awards night May 2018, I silently prayed and He reassured me with a prize.

2019 oh what a year! And Gold of Syria,

Seeing lives transformed, doubts no longer,

No way I was to give up at that juncture,

Remembering Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you, plans to give you hope and a future".

This pursuit gives me the work life balance I could never imagined,

Besides the opportunity to serve the community of Woking.

I can see my little girl dance and prance everyday,

I can be there for my tween battling into teen without missing a day.

We could have meals together as a family for most of the days,

Thank you Lord, I hope all these are part of your will and your ways.

This is not the end,

because it was never about prosperity at 65,

For I long to walk further,

On the path you have laid, Success or failure by human definition, not that bothered, Galatians, the nine fruits of the spirit, that's what matter.
