Gold of Syria "Ouzy Sorar Puffs"

On Tuesday 17th September 2019, a Syrian chef prepared some amazing Ouzy Sorar Puffs to delight the customers at Cosy and we managed to sell 75 lunchboxes as well as raised another whopping £300 from the event! It was really lovely to see some of our regular GoRendang customers as well as the public who came to support the event.

Besides having the opportunity to support the refugees, the other best bits of the project is getting to learn the Syrian cuisine and working in a diverse team of volunteers. They were from multinational backgrounds; Italian, Indian, Australian, British, Malaysian, Syrian...just to name a few!
