My late grandmama and the 2yo (I think) me. When I was little, I used to watch her cook but she passed away before I could get myself into cooking. She used to cook for the whole family and parties single handedly. Our neighbours and relatives used to rave about her cooking and until this day, everyone is still talking about the amazing dishes she churned out. That shows how much we all miss her cooking! The signature Hakka Braised Pork and Malaysian Chicken Curry on our menu are memories of her but her versions were miles better.
She is my personal best chef and source of inspiration to the conception of GoRendang, a tribute to her. ♥️
